Elevate Architectural Design with Versatile GFRC

Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete [GFRC]

Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete

Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) is a versatile and innovative building material that combines the strength of traditional concrete with the flexibility and lightweight properties of glass fibers. This composite material is created by incorporating alkali-resistant glass fibers into the concrete matrix, resulting in a high-performance material with enhanced durability and design flexibility.

Benefits of GFRC

Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete, or GFRC, is a revolutionary architectural material that combines the durability of concrete with the flexibility of fiberglass. It’s created by embedding glass fibers into a cementitious matrix, resulting in a lightweight, strong, and versatile material. GFRC offers architects and designers a canvas for creating extraordinary architectural elements, from facades to intricate details.

GFRC Benefits

Glass fibre Reinforced Concrete or GRC can be tailored to meet a wide variety of aesthetic, structural requirements Below are some of the benefits that GRC brings to architecture

Application of GFRC

metal studd frame
METAL FRAME

The GFRC stud frame panel consists of a single skin of GFRC attached to a prefabricated frame, usually galvanized metal with flexible anchors and support anchors.

The flex anchors are for lateral support to the GRC facing whilst allowing some degree of rotation and shrinkage/movement of the GRC

This selection may depend on local building regulations.

Joint sealent
JOINT SEALANT

The purpose of joint sealant is to minimize infiltration of surface water and incompressible material into the joint system.

expanded polystyrene
EXPANDED POLYSTYRE

The expanded polystyrene used in the sandwich panel is depend on project specification.

The materials used on joints can be:
Silicones
Polyurethane
Dot Separator
