The Broad Museum
The Broad Museum in Los Angeles is one of the most recognized examples of parametric GFRC architecture in the world. The project introduced an innovative “veil and vault” concept where the building envelope acts simultaneously as structure, solar control, and architectural expression. The facade consists of thousands of unique GFRC panels arranged in a porous honeycomb geometry. These lightweight panels allow natural daylight to filter into the museum galleries while protecting the artwork from direct sunlight.
