Petra Design was entrusted with delivering a lightweight, sustainable, and high-performance cladding solution for MTQ. In response, we engineered and manufactured a 40mm-thick Ultra-High-Performance Concrete (UHPC) panel system, designed to replace the outdated, heavy precast panels. Our custom-designed UHPC panels provide a thinner and lighter alternative while being fire-rated, offering enhanced fire resistance, higher strength, and exceptional durability as key requirements for the project. To ensure efficient installation, Petra Design also developed a pre-engineered hanging system. This system streamlines the lifting, precise positioning, and secure cladding of the fire-rated UHPC panels onto the existing structure. Through this innovative solution, Petra Design successfully met MTQ’s demands for sustainability, functionality, and ease of installation.
